Don and I spoke at the Reagan Library in Simi, CA on August 17, 2022 as part of the museum’s Secrets of WWII exhibit.
The secret? A story that has never been told until now, about General Rupertus, and his experience in Shanghai China as a CO of the 4th Marines, and with the 1st Marine Division in the Pacific. And, the history of My Rifle the Creed of a US Marine.
I have it memorized, but alas, when asked, bombed the opening. Oh my.
